Scouts

Here at 4th Golcar, we offer a programme full of fun and adventure! From Climbing and Abseiling to Hill walking and survival skills. We hold on average 6 camps per year, which include a summer camp of over a week long. During these camps, Scouts learn valuable skills for life such as problem-solving, cooking, mapping, teamwork and self-sufficiency.

Whilst at Scouts we have 9 challenge badges to work on as well as gain the highest award, the Chief Scouts Gold Award. There is also activity badges to gain which cover any subject you could think of!

Scouting offers many opportunities for both Boys and Girls! Over 40 Scouts can’t be wrong!

The Scout Section is for young people, aged between 10½ and 14 years.

We meet on Friday evening between 7.15pm – 9.00pm.
