Golcar Scouts once again won the District Capers trophy. This years event started at Titanic Mills in Linthwaite and the teams had to make their way up to the main New Hey Road – collecting three lives at a series of checkpoints on route. Once safely over the main road the event turned into a giant wide game, with teams trying to avoid being caught by the Explorer Scout Chasers. Golcar C team won the event – returning to the Centre at 9:02, with two lives still intact. Golcar A and B teams also did well – both returning to the Centre within the time limits of the event.
