Outdoor Plus Challenge - 05/10/2011
On the same weekend as the camping competition three of the older end Scouts completed the final requirements for their Outdoor Plus Challenge Badge. They had to spend a night in a bivvy (they enjoyed it so much that they spent both nights in it!) and take part in a major pioneering project. This project was to build a swing, using two A frames and a cross piece. It was a great success and everyone got to play on the swings – the Leaders enjoyed this especially! Well done to Daniel, Jake and Charlie - and thanks to Ethan and Jacob for assisting.
