Our Summer Adventure to Scotland - 01/10/2011
Welcome to this special newsletter! Not often do we produce a newsletter, but it is always felt appropriate that we should share our summer camps with others. Each Scout has wrote an article for this newsletter, so enjoy reading the adventures of Golcar Scouts in Scotland.
For this year’s summer camp, the Scout Troop made their way to Scotland. We headed to the Highland’s for our summer adventure and prepared ourselves for a full of fun and exciting activities that had been planned.
Our Campsite was a public site, which is very unusual for Scout Camping, but it was very nice site with good facilities!
Thanks to ‘Black Rock’ in Evanton for allowing us to use their site.
There were 25 of us that enjoyed the week. 18 Scouts and 7 Leaders. The Scout Leader team were: Soo, Craig, Dan and Matt, and three representatives from the Cub Leaders: Akela (Matthew), Job and Dan T!
The week was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we can’t wait for our next adventure!
