Explorers visit the Observatory - 15/05/2011
On Wednesday 27th April 14 Explorer Scouts visited Crosland Moor Observatory for a talk about astronomy, and to view the sun. We looked at the sun through a massive telescope; it looked like a small red football on fire! We then studied a large printed poster of the moon. A great time was had by all, especially in the early spring sunshine! Check out the gallery for all our photos.
