Water Games Night - 25/07/2010
The last joint meeting before the summer holidays, saw Beavers took part in a selection of water based activities. Upon arrival, Beavers were split into four teams and soon the fun began. There were four bases, 3 of which were all water based. Base one was a water balloon game. Beavers were stood in a line and had to try and pop a balloon that was filled with a bit of water with a stick with a pin on the end! This was the easiest of all bases, and Beavers stayed dry on this one. Base two was called soggy scamper! Beavers had to fill a sponge with water and then pass over fellow beavers heads. By the end of this base, many Beavers were a little wet! Base three involved beavers filling a cup of water, and then having to hold it above their head, they had to run, hop and walk around a little track and try and keep the water in the cup! This was easier said than done! Yet, this base was also the most enjoyable. The final base was a relay race, where Beavers were timed to see how long it took them to run down a track using massive feet! This base didn't involve any water! By the end of the night, the Beavers were rather damp, but needless to say they all had a brilliant time! The winning team also received a little prize!
