Litter Picking - 28/10/2009

The Golcar Lily Day Committee were holding a litter pick in Golcar on Saturday 24 October 2009. Ten Scouts/ Explorers and three Leaders turned out to help. We wore the new bright green Kirklees Big Clean Up tabards. We spent an hour covering the village and removing any litter we found with our grabbers. The Golcar Lily Day Committee were very grateful and the scouts clocked up another hour towards their Community Challenge Award.
