Summer camp Day 3 - 17/08/2009
Today we visited Housteads Roman Fort. Housteads is the best known fort on Hadrians wall covering two hectares the fort was occupied for nearly 300 years.

After lunch we split up and half of us walked along Hardians wall towards Housteads and the other team walked from Housteads along the wall and swapping minibus keys when we met in the middle. During the last ten minutes of the walk the heavens opened and everyone was soaking wet.

A visit to the outdoor swimming pool at Haltwhistle was well deserved.
