Welcome to 4th Golcar Beaver Colonies!
Here at 4th Golcar we have two active Beaver Colonies, Blue Lake and Silver Birch. Each Colony has around 20 youth members, both boys and girls. We offer a program of fun filled activities and crafts. From Treasure Hunts to Canal Walks, from making dragons to being a mad scientist, Beavers offers a varied and fun filled program.
Yearly, 4th Golcar Beavers hold an annual Beaver and Parent Camp, where fun filled activities take place. This years theme is MAGIC! and we will be turning our Beavers into wizards and witches for the weekend. Previous years themes have included: Dinosaurs, Clowns and Circuses, Insects and Sea life!
2011 is a big year for Beavers across the whole country as we celebrate our 25th birthday! Watch out for our celebration events throughout the year!
The Beaver Scout Section is for young people aged between 6 and 8 years old.
